Autodesk即将发布三维视频特效软件Combustion 2008版。新的版本包含了色彩包裹(Colour Warper)工具，改进了节点视图以及加强了同 Adobe® Photoshop® 和 Adobe® Illustrator® 的联系。
同时Combustion为艺术家还提供了更简便的用户界面以及广泛的工具装置。为了满足广大用户的需求，Combustion 2008将在2007年12月正式发布。此2008版本将支持Mac OS X和Windows。零售价为US$995。 Combustion 4到Combustion 2008的升级价格为US$199。
Combustion软件简介：基于PC或苹果平台的Combustion软件是为视觉特效创建而设计的一整套尖端工具，包含矢量绘画、粒子、视频效果处理、轨迹动画以及3D效果合成等五大工具模块。软件提供了大量强大且独特的工具，包括动态图片、三维合成、颜色矫正、图像稳定、矢量绘制和旋转、文字特效、短格式编辑、表现、Flash输出等功能；另外还提供了运动图形和合成艺术新的创建能力，交互性界面的改进；增强了其绘画工具与3ds max软件中的交互操作功能；可以通过cleaner编码记录软件使其与flint、flame、inferno、fire和smoke同时工作。
